This document – branded as a No Lost Generation product and with input from Save the Children, UNHCR and UNICEF – provides in-depth guidance on indicators for the Syria Crisis Education Response.
The indicators are grouped into three categories: access, quality and system strengthening. The “Access” category aims to increase access to education for crisis-affected children. The “Quality” category aims to improve the quality of formal and non-formal education within a protective environment. Finally, the “System strengthening” category aims to strengthen the capacity of the education system to deliver a timely, coordinated and evidence-based education response.
In addition to providing detailed guidance on the Syria Crisis Education Response Indicators, the document also briefly outlines the key challenges in securing access to learning pathways within the Syria Crisis Education Response, as well as a proposed strategic direction in the short and medium term.
