The No Lost Generation initiative is an ambitious commitment to action by humanitarians, donors and policy makers to support children and youth affected by the Syria and Iraq crises. It was launched in 2013 and is now entering phase III, which will cover the period 2019-2022.
No Lost Generation is a regional level initiative. Country-level programming for children and youth which relates to the three No Lost Generation pillars of Education, Child Protection, and Adolescents & Youth is embedded in the country level joint humanitarian / resilience response plans, reports and coordination mechanisms.
Following an independent evaluation of No Lost Generation conducted in 2019 and discussions amongst key stakeholders and partners, a phase III of No Lost Generation will be initiated in September 2019. The geographic and thematic scope of will be maintained, and this phase will last for 3 years.
