Highlights
This presentation introduces UNHCR's community supports volunteers toolkit. Due to the large numbers of unaccompanied and separated children in the countries surrounding Syria, UNHCR developed a toolkit to support unaccompanied and separated children and to build on positive community-based programming. Volunteers support the unaccompanied and separated children in their protection and development, mentoring them and helping them identifying their risks. The presentation includes an assessment of implementing such toolkit, its challenges and impacts.
