Evaluation of UNICEF's psychosocial support response for Syrian children in Jordan

UNICEF

Highlights

Evaluation conducted by the Antares Foundation of the full range of Psychosocial Support (PSS) activities directly implemented by UNICEF and its implementing partners in 2013 and 2014 for Syrian refugees. The focus was on interventions implemented through child-friendly spaces in refugee camps and host communities in Jordan. The purpose of the evaluation was to generate evidence-based knowledge on the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of UNICEF psychosocial response. An important feature of the evaluation therefore consisted in identifying good practices and lessons learned regarding intended and unintended outcomes.
