Third Brussels Conference on Supporting the future of Syria and the region
The third Brussels Conference on Supporting the future of Syria was held on 12-14 March 2019 and gave space to young people to share their experience.
On 12-14 March 2019, the EU and the UN co-hosted a third Brussels Conference on Supporting the future of Syria and the region. No Lost Generation partners worked with bloggers on the Voices of Youth Arabic blogging platform to produce a short video where young people share their experiences and perspectives with policy makers and donors at the conference.
One session in the conference focused on the importance of Education and Child Protection, urging the international community and governments in the region to continue and step up their efforts to ensure that all children and young people have access to high quality learning opportunities, and are protected from exploitative labor, child marriage, and other forms of violence that disrupt access to education.
